Storm Damage - Tree Emergency - Fallen Tree Removal

Tree Emergency - Fallen Trees - Storm damaged Trees - Flood Damaged

Here at Oakdale we understand that emergency situations arise at any time of the day or night.

Whether during Summer gales or even Winter storms, Wind can snap parts of Tree or push trees over by breaking the rootplate from the ground especially where the grouns is saturated by Flood water or Rising Ground water or errosion of the soils around there roots ,due to heavy & persistant rainfall brought in by storm & other weather events.
These effects can severely affect Trees in such a way that they can structurally fail whether in part or in their entirety,
Wind pressure often excerts increased load in mechanical stress this pressure is inflicted by the rotation of the canopy 'Twist' or 'Wind sail'. This can be brought about by Heavy Ivy presences which is evergreen and does not reduce in Winter months where normal decidous leaf fall reduces the resistance to wind flow through the canopy.

Efforts excerted onto the trees branches by high winds or through increased weight load from Snow accumulation during heavy or persistant Snowfall, or through natural growth weaknesses result in a failure which may go un-noticed due to IVY or lack of inspections. These inherant weakness in the growth habit of the particular tree are not managed to reduce occurance.

If faced by such a situation please Do not panic; you can call our office in the first instance!

We are on hand twenty four hours a day, seven days a week and three hundred and sixty five days of the year.
Once instructed by yourselves our arborist's can subject to availabilty respond to assess the danger, give advice and make the site safe or where the dynamics are extreme make such provisions as to cordon off the area until a time that the situation can be dealt entirely.

This could involve remedial pruning of damaged parts removing fallen debris or in some cases dismantling the removal of the failed tree.

Make a note of our emergency helpline telephone number and bear us in mind if the need arises.

“I would like to thank Oakdale Ltdfor the professional job they undertook when removing a large Horse chestnut tree from my back garden.

The crew never stopped working from the minute they arrived and caused no collateral damage which was amazing given the size of the tree and it's location.

I have no hesitation in recommending them to others.

Mr. G. Culley.

Thank you for the work done in my garden today cutting down my hazel tree and removing the holly trees.  Your two workers Scott and Brian did  a fantastic job and worked really hard and tidied the garden really well. I am really impressed yet again (a couple of years ago your company took down an enormous ash tree for me).
